It is finished!

Even in the midst of chaos and challenges, take time to remember Christ.
As the song of old goes:
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of the earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Thank You Lord.

I could sing of Your love forever

Celebrating Earth Hour - even as lights are turned off, the light of Your love will shine forever.

So when lights are out, what's there to do? Some Earth Hour ideas you might consider (well, not necessarily only for Earth Hour only):

For adults:

  • Lovey dovey under the covers, wink & nudge :)
  • Candle light dinner - who says it has gotta be romantic? Try having one with family and friends.

  • Starry, starry night - Check out the night sky of your city and be washed in amazement with its beauty

Children can have a wonderful time too, well adults can play these games as well:

  • Play hide and seek in the dark
  • Sound charades! - guess the sound you are acting out
  • Touch and guess - almost like a mystery box, prepare items with different textures, let the child guess what is the item.

Happened yesterday. Parked my car by the road and went for dinner.

Look at what I came back to after dinner:

:'( No idea who had done it...

On a more positive note, thank God this was not caused by a major accident, nobody got hurt - a scratch here and there is inevitable at times.

(A)musing Finds - Women!

Happy International Women's Day! Celebrated annually on 8th March, this is the 112th year. It was previously International Working Women's Day.

This day is both a celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements.

The United Nation's theme for this year's celebration is "A Promise is a Promise: Time for Action to End Violence Against Women".

Loved this doodle on Google:

Can't see the Google word? Here it is... nice, eh? Kudos to Betsy Bauer.

As for me, it is just a normal week day, but I had a nice lunch break with my buddy from the workplace:

Happy Day to every girl/woman out there, and happiness everyday!

My fave item in the box has gotta be these masks - Wella Professional Mask x 3 sachets of 15ml each. With this hot spell KL is experiencing, I find that I have to wash my hair more often - and I realise my hair is becoming dry whilst my scalp is getting oily. Definitely time for some TLC.

What are you waiting for? Let's not miss the March's box!

That's what friends are for go through life's ups and downs together.

For these blossoms, to share a time of togetherness through rain and shine at my balcony, speaking of which the weather these days is so hot. (Highest today is up to 34°C. Makes me just wanna hide indoor!)

I wonder if you are just like me. As I grow older, I find that the friends I have are becoming lesser. New friends are made every now and then, but friends who have stuck by my side through life's seasons may just be that couple few. Yet, I am grateful for them. The Chinese says  人生得一知己,死而無憾 - meaning you will have no regrets in life if you have had a confidant.

How is a friend and confidant different? A friend may be a confidant, but a confidant is definitely a friend. A confidant is a trusted someone who helps one to reveal the inner thoughts or intentions. Deep, eh? So, do you know who is your friend? Who is your confidant?
